She’s sung in 35 countries for the troops, opened for all the headliners at Club Harlem, and produces the longest-running African American female-produced act in town. What better performer, then, to get the A.C. Jamming! monthly music showcase rolling than the legendary vocalist Angela Burton and her band, Passion?

An Atlantic City treasure, Burton ​​has a long history as a professional vocalist and entertainer worldwide, performing originals as well as R&B, Top 40, Jazz, Oldies and Motown worldwide. In 2016, she received the 2016 Hometown Achievement Award and the Key to Atlantic City in recognition of her work. She lights up every stage she steps on and her infectious energy never fails to have audiences on their feet and singing along.

A.C. Jamming! is Atlantic City’s premier monthly showcase, where spectators become stars and magic happens on stage. Each show begins with a featured performer, followed by an open stage for anyone brave enough to seize the spotlight. Singers, instrumentalists, poets and comedians — all are welcome to collaborate with world-class musicians from The Cason Express Show Band and strut their stuff.

Curated by the visionary Derek K. Cason, A.C. Jamming! creates a unique space where community thrives.
