On July 22nd, Newark’s iconic Halsey Street comes to life with the BrownMill Anniversary Block Party x Halsey Fest. This free outdoor event is a full day of curated cultural experiences that celebrate the community organizations, makers and businesses fueling Newark’s unwavering creative energy. Powered by the Newark Alliance, the event is a team effort between Newark’s iconic Halsey Festival and lifestyle brand BrownMill Company. There will be plenty of activities for all ages.
12:00PM – 5:00PM: Child-centered experiential activities
5:00PM – 8:00PM: DJ sets and live music, food and vibes all day long

DJ Quin Bee: multimedia artist with a focus in music curation, DJing, design and creative direction, spinning a fusion of Hip-Hop, R&B, house, Afrobeat, Caribbean and more; Lead Creative Director at The Gumbo.
