Lilly Nickens, Africana Studies Major at Stockton University, will facilitate a conversation with Ms. Shelton regarding the book, which chronicles the historical significance of Atlantic City’s famed Chicken Bone Beach.

After the reception, stay for a special recital by musician Tony Day and students from the Chicken Bone Beach Youth Jazz Institute and a Special Exhibition of Photographs depicting life on Chicken Bone Beach.
