Back by popular demand, two of Asbury Park’s premier party bands — The Foes of Fern and Blush — raise the roof at the Happy Mondays music series with their signature energy and crowd-pleasing tunes. Joining them on the bill are rising stars American Girlfriend and local legends The Extensions, rounding out a powerhouse lineup that showcases the best of the local scene.

The Foes of Fern: Marrying drums, bass, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, among other instruments, The Foes of Fern bring the party wherever they perform. This Asbury Park-based band is known for performing an exhilarating blend of genres that was once referred to as “Soulful Multilayered Organic Indie Folk Rock.”

Blush: Blush is an Asbury Park-based band that plays groovy indie rock with notes of pop, blues and funk. Influences are the B-52s, The Doors, Ben Folds, The Beatles, Talking Heads and No Doubt.

American Girlfriend: American Girlfriend is an emerging indie rock band from Asbury that’s been gaining attention in the local music scene with a style that blends elements of alternative rock and indie pop.

The Extensions: Described as grandiose yet accessible, biting yet jubilant, The Extensions is an indie rock band of contradictions that somehow manages to make them all work perfectly together.
