Get your tickets today!   The world-famous Atlantic City boardwalk is not only home to casinos, hotels, and beaches, it is also walked by some of the most intriguing people from around the block and across the globe. There is no better place to meet and photograph people! In this photo workshop we will wander the boardwalk absorbing the energy, studying the ocean light, and of course looking for photo subjects. We will introduce ourselves as a group and ask for permission to photograph. The goal of the workshop is to see the beauty and humanity in everyone we pass and to attempt to capture that in our cameras. We will learn to isolate subjects by using a black fabric background behind them and a simple reflector to add light to the scene.   As a class, before we go out, we will address the ethical issues of approaching someone vs photographing them without their knowledge. At the end of the workshop, we will debrief with a review of our images and a discussion of our experiences. There will be three one-day workshops. Ages 16+ Please bring your own camera if possible. A couple of loaners will be available at no cost. Smart phones with adequate cameras are ok.   No one will be turned away because of lack of funds.
