Looking for an event that’s sure to inspire and uplift all who attend? Head over the Over the Moon Art Studio for ‘Soulfull Sunday’, an evening of “hArtWell-ness” and celebration for African American families. The event, a partnership between the ZamirAhsaad A. Dunbar Foundation and Yogi Vibezz, features live music, spoken word, and hands-on activities, including drumming, artmaking, and dance. It focuses on providing a meaningful experience to underserved and underprivileged children, adults and senior citizens and is open to the public.
Fueled by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to express themselves creatively and to connect with others, the event provides a safe and inclusive space for families to come together and experience the healing power of music and art.
The ZamirAhsaad A. Dunbar Foundation (ZADF) celebrates African American culture and heritage while promoting community service, academic achievement, wellness, intergenerational bonding and the arts. They do this by providing high-quality artistic and cultural experiences for the community, offering creative opportunities for children and adults such as performance art, wellness, visual arts, technology, science, mathematics and intergenerational bonding.
