Vibes In The City: There’s No Place Like Home will highlight Al-Munir’s GRAMMY Museum Experience™ Prudential Center, Paradise in the City, from Yasmin Dejesus, Artist education panels, youth-focused workshops, wellness activations, and much more.
On June 23, head to Vibes In The City: There’s No Place Like Home, a one-of-its-kind concert event highlighting emerging talent from Newark (aka Brick City) and the surrounding areas. Featured artists include rising star Samad Savage and hip-hop hometown hero Broadway Blake, among many others.
Newark has always been a city of untapped and emerging talent, especially in the arts. This “No Place Like Home” event was created with the intent of celebrating community, family, culture, education and much more, reminding us that there’s truly no place like home. Make your way to Jannah on Grafton and give some love to the arts and artists of Brick City!
Vibes In The City is a New Jersey-based platform that provides opportunities for emerging talent, shining a light on the amazing entertainment, food, small businesses and grit-and-grind culture of Newark. Their events consistently represent and celebrate the City of Newark, NJ, by showcasing the melting pot of talent right here in our backyard. Since launching on January 6th, 2016, Vibes In The City has become a staple of the Newark, NJ music/arts scene, including curating and producing segments of the Historic Lincoln Park Music Festival as well as the award-winning Newark Arts Festival. Even Jersey icon and tap dance legend Savion Glover has given Vibes In The City the hometown stamp.
