Highlights:

Strategic Audience Development – The new Cocktails & Creatives series, held on February 21, April 3, and May 15, featuring thought-provoking discussions with Black creative leaders, highlighting diverse pathways to success.

• February 21 – Content Creator Takeover: A digital media and branding discussion led by top influencers in collaboration with TikTok.
• April 3 – The Business of Poetry: A powerful panel on poetry as an industry, featuring Dr. Helena D. Lewis, Kween Moore, and Sean Battle, with exclusive readings and live music.
• May 15 – Lyrics & Life w/ Raekwon & DoItAll: Hip-hop legends Raekwon and DoItAll explore the impact of music on culture, followed by a live performance.

“Invest in the Next” Day (June 18) – 300 high school juniors engaged in hands-on training in film, sound, lighting, and the business of entertainment.

• Participants will have intimate learning experiences with experienced professionals enlisted in industry unions, giving them a direct pathway into entertainment careers.

**Power of Black Voices & Think Tank Black (June 19) **– In Partnership with Newark Tech Week – An immersive Tech Town Hall addressing the barriers faced by Black innovators, driving actionable solutions for equity in the industry.

• The Power of Black Voices (Morning Session): A morning of impactful panels featuring leading voices in Black arts, media, and business, culminating in a keynote address from an esteemed industry leader.
• Black Tech Business Spotlight– Featuring a leading Black tech entrepreneur who is breaking barriers in the industry.
• Keynote Speaker – A powerhouse speaker will take the stage to provide insight into the future of Black innovation in tech and entrepreneurship.

Classic Black Celebration & Concert (June 20) – Presented by Earn Your Leisure – A performance featuring a celebrity lineup, merging entertainment, financial literacy, and culture to close out the summit with an unforgettable experience.
