  • Take GSP north to exit 140 
  • Merge on US-22 East 
  • Keep right at the fork to continue toward NJ-21 North 
  • Keep left at the fork and merge onto NJ-21 North 
  • Turn left onto Center Street 
  • From here, you can navigate to all the venues, restaurants, and attractions 
  • Take Garden State Parkway south to exit 145 toward I-280/The Oranges/Newark 
  • Turn left toward I-280 east 
  • Keep right at the fork, follow signs for I-280 East and merge onto I-280 East 
  • Take exit 15 
  • Merge on nj-21 South toward Downtown/Ironbound 
  • Turn right onto Center Street 
  • From here, you can navigate to all the venues, restaurants, and attractions 
  • Take NJ turnpike North to exit 13a Newark Airport/Elizabet Seaport 
  • Stay left after paying the toll and merge onto NJ-81 North 
  • Merge onto US 1-9 North 
  • Keep left at the fork to continue toward NJ-21 North 
  • Keep right at the fork and merge onto NJ-21 North 
  • Continue on NJ-21 North 
  • Turn right onto Center Street 
  • From here, you can navigate to all the venues, restaurants, and attractions 
  • Take NJ Turnpike South to exit 15W for I-280 toward Newark/Kearney 
  • Keep left at the fork and merge onto I-280 West 
  • Take I-280 West to exit 15A-15B toward NJ-21 North/Belleville/NJ-21 South/Newark/Downtown/Ironbound 
  • Keep left at the fork to continue toward NJ-21 South 
  • Keep left at the fork and merge onto NJ-21 South 
  • Turn right onto Center Street 
  • From here, you can navigate to all the venues, restaurants, and attractions 
  • Take I-280 east to exit 15 
  • Merge on NJ-21 South toward Downtown/Ironbound 
  • Turn right onto Center Street 
  • From here, you can navigate to all the venues, restaurants, and attractions 
  • Take I-280 West to exit 15A-15B toward NJ-21 North/Belleville/NJ-21 South/Newark/Downtown/Ironbound 
  • Keep left at the fork to continue toward NJ-21 South 
  • Keep left at the fork and merge onto NJ-21 South 
  • Turn right onto Center Street 
  • From here, you can navigate to all the venues, restaurants, and attractions 

Public Transportation

Newark has two NJ Transit train stations: Newark Penn Station and Newark Broad Street Station.  The train lines that run through these stations are: 

Newark Penn Station

  • North Jersey Coast Line
  • Raritan Valley Line
  • Northeast Corridor Line

Newark Broad Street Station

  • Montclair-Boonton Line
  • Morris & Essex Line 


You can also access North2Shore via the Newark Light Rail, which runs throughout most of Newark and into nearby Belleville and Bloomfield.  

Many bus lines run through and to Newark. For specific bus lines, stations, and departure times, please visit the NJ Transit website.

Newark International Airport is a major airport hub for United Airlines. With over 30 airlines flying into and out of EWR daily, you are able to safely and easily arrive in New Jersey for North2Shore! Hop on a quick bus or train, grab a cab, or rent a car and travel the short distance to Downtown Newark.
