When the sun goes down on July 17 and 18, prepare to be astonished as Convention Hall’s iconic Grand Arcade comes to life, transforming into a creative wonderland of color and light.

The Color & Light Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of digital art, global creativity and the power of public spaces to bring people together. Each night from 8:30 to 10:30pm, Convention Hall’s Grand Arcade becomes a living canvas as four internationally acclaimed projection-mapping teams from Hungary, Belgium, Indonesia, and Bulgaria debut large-scale, music-synchronized 3D shows created specifically for Asbury Park’s iconic architecture. The historic building doesn’t just host the art — it becomes it. Live performances will support the This year’s Welcome World theme reflects New Jersey’s moment on the global stage, honoring the cultural diversity and international connections that define the Garden State while welcoming visitors from around the world to experience what makes this community so remarkable.

Presented by PolyOne digital art platform in collaboration with the renowned LUMA Projection Arts Festival, Color & Light is more than a spectacle. Founded in Asbury Park, the festival brings together internationally acclaimed and emerging artists to celebrate innovation, diversity and the belief that creativity can spark real change. Art sales from the festival directly support social and environmental initiatives, making every purchase an act of community investment.
