Joe Miller, Mike Montrey Band, and Dave Vargo

Catch these three amazing singer-songwriters performing sets of their own songs, as well as an exclusive collaborative North to Shore set together. Mike Montrey Band’s dynamic fusion of Americana Rock ‘n Soul has been lighting up New Jersey, and far beyond for over a decade. With a focus on American roots/folk music, singer-songwriter Joseph Alton Miller strives to bridge the gap separating the many genres that make up the American sound. Dave Vargo is an accomplished singer-songwriter and gifted guitarist from New Brunswick, New Jersey who embraces a unique blend of the Americana, country, rock and folk genres.

Johnny Nameless is a group from Seaside Heights, NJ with a genre-bending sound that casts shadows to vintage psych, new wave, surf, punk, glam, torch and blues. The group started in 2017 and recorded their first album Seaside Motel in 2019 followed by the EP, Here Come the Bugs in 2022 and their latest effort, The Boarder in The Mind in 2023.

 

Myster-E Edutainment

Eric Shandroff aka Myster-E of Myster-E Edutainment is a creative, compelling and captivating hip hop MC, spoken word poet, artist and interdisciplinary and educator. Myster-E has made a name for himself both locally and globally through his performative rapping style and teaching experience. He currently works as a teaching artist for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, facilitating workshops in schools for poetry, hip hop, podcasting and creative coaching. He is also the coordinator for the Hip Hop Institute at the Monmouth County Boys and Girls Club, working in partnership with Lakehouse Recording Studios and the Asbury Park Music Foundation. Myster-E serves as the NJ Regional Director for Rappers and Rabbis, an organization that fuses Jewish education with hip hop practices. Myster-E once served as the radio personality and host to the Kickin it With E Show live on Wu World Radio (official radio station of the Wu Tang Clan) in which he accompanied Wu Tang members at SXSW music festival in 2016 in Austin Texas. Myster-E is deep rooted in hip hop culture as member of the Universal Zulu Nation, and has opened for hip hop icons such as KRS One, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Joel Ortiz, Papoose and more. In 2022, Myster-E represented Team Poland on behalf of Next Level USA as a U.S. Hip Hop Cultural Ambassador in which he performed cultural diplomacy work through Hip Hop practices around numerous cities in Poland. Myster-E currently teaches performing arts full time at UCTeams charter school in Plainfield NJ. Myster-E emerged as an “edutainer” in 2016 after he began bringing his talents into the classroom as a performing substitute teacher. Myster-E would tell his classes, “If you all get your work done and are well behaved, I will drop some bars for you at the end of class,” which eventually birthed Myster-E Edutainment. In 2019, Myster-E graduated from Kean University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies (radio/tv/film). Before graduating, E competed in the 2019 Kean University Business Plan Competition in which he finished as a finalist with his business Myster-E Edutainment winning a $900 honararium. Eric also represented the New Jeru slam team in 2019 competing in the Southern Fried Poetry Slam Festival in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as a NJ representative. Myster-E continues to teach and perform for diverse audiences from NJ to beyond, inspiring educating and entertaining through hip hop, rhythm applied poetry, spoken word and English language arts.

Space and The Goodstock Jamband

Space by definition is expansive and free. This immense liberation is felt in her music with melodies that are uniquely universal. Space is a self-taught guitarist and singer-songwriter who has spiritually channeled her grandfather’s musical talents. Her grandfather, Raoul Cita of The Harptones doo-wop group, passed on a legacy that she has naturally inherited; writer, composer, musician. Her sound is a soulful, funky R&B mix with influences by Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu and Nina Simone. With the infusion all of these elements she maintains her own self expression. Chris Thacke is a mostly self-taught multi-instrumentalist and singer from Eatontown, NJ. He plays many styles from blues to reggae and finds music therapeutic and a great form of expression. Andreas Rebmann, with 55 years of drumming experience, is a seasoned musician renowned for his exceptional skills behind the kit. As the founder of the Goodstock Jam band, he has contributed to the music industry with his unique rhythms and captivating performances. Currently residing in Neptune City with his beloved family, Andreas continues to inspire and influence aspiring drummers with his passion for music and unwavering dedication to his craft. James Graff is a celebrated musician known for his impressive vocal range and instrumental prowess. Having toured five continents and performed in numerous countries alongside esteemed recording artists, he has enraptured audiences of tens of thousands worldwide. Boasting over 9 million YouTube views and a substantial social media following, James is a prominent figure in the music industry. Tanya Peterson has been performing as a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter at the Jersey Shore for about 30 years. She has recorded and performed with many local musicians on violin, viola, bass guitar, keyboards and vocals. Since 2008, she has been a music educator teaching band, orchestra, chorus and general music. Mike Rosa is a local musician and educator who has performed with a variety of artists throughout the Monmouth County area ranging in styles from rock and pop, to jazz. From original music to the American songbook. Mike has had an active presence in the local Asbury Park music scene through its development and growth for over 20 years. Zaymar, is a rising star from Lakewood, New Jersey, on a mission to make his mark in the music industry. With his unique blend of soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics, he captivates audiences and leaves them wanting more. Zaymar’s passion for music shines through in every performance, as he strives to elevate his artistry and connect with listeners on a deeper level. Keep an eye out for this talented artist as he continues to rise and make waves in the world of music.

The Mercury Brothers

Based out of Asbury Park, NJ, The Mercury Brothers bring an ethereal, raw live performance driven by a deep chemistry that reflects 15+ years of professional musicianship, playing hundreds of shows along the northeast coast of the US. Their sentimental, upbeat, abrasive and emotional soundscape spans beyond genre but relays a passionate, unrefined message of sincerity, love and struggle.
