The Asbury Park African-American Music Project (AP-AMP) is a local Asbury Park non-profit dedicated to giving voice to the stories of Asbury Park’s African American community and provide opportunities for engagement and education through stories and song. They are currently hard at work restoring the legendary Turf Club—the last standing music venue on Springwood Avenue – into a community spot for music and culture.
