On June 15, ease into your afternoon with the music of the Dorian Parreott Ensemble at the Local Jazz Artist Concert, taking place at historic Trinity Church as part of the Prudential presents North to Shore Festival.

The Dorian Parreott Jazz Ensemble has been honored by the Asbury Park Music Foundation and features talented local AFM Local 399 musicians Dorian Parreott, Mark Cohn, Jimmy Givens, Fred Doren and Robert Pilcher. Whether you’re into smooth sax, dynamic drums, terrific trumpets or groovy guitars, this ensemble delivers. Don’t be surprised if a special guest or two shows up as well.

This event is free, but donations are accepted for Trinity’s food and housing program. So not only will you get to enjoy the cream of the crop in jazz, but you’ll also be supporting local social justice organizations in the process.
