During the 2025 North to Shore Festival, Yendor Theatre Company formally launched a brand new series, Soul-O! What better place to feature the next Soul-O shows than during the 2026 North to Shore Festival?

Yendor Theatre Company’s Soul-O series returns to the North to Shore Festival with two raw, electric one-person plays by Black women. Soul-O is a platform for solo theatrical work rooted in the Black and Latine experience — combining artistry, history, and unapologetic truth-telling on a single stage. The evening will feature a live music preshow, talkback and a reception to close out the night.

An original one-woman show based on the life of voting rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer.
