Corridor of Creativity

Saturday, June 20, 2026 @ 12-1PM

Walk starts at corner of Ridge and Springwood Avenue and ends at Springwood Park Asbury Park, NJ

Free

Springwood Avenue has a story to tell—and this June, that story comes alive.

The Corridor of Creativity is an immersive, living celebration of Black history, art and community pride winding through the heart of Asbury Park. Beginning at the corner of Ridge and Springwood Avenue and ending at Springwood Avenue Park, this walkable experience transforms the avenue into a living gallery of performance, expression and heritage.

As you move through the corridor, local artists and performers activate the street at every turn. Singers, musicians, painters and spoken word artists bring their craft into the open air, inviting you to stop, feel and witness creativity in its most alive form.

The experience runs deeper than performance. QR codes placed along the route connect you to the rich history of Springwood Avenue itself—bridging the present moment with the legacy of a community that has long shaped the culture of this city. It’s where education and art both coexist and amplify each other.

Following in the tradition of the Springwood Heritage Foundation Walk, this corridor honors what came before while celebrating what is being built right now.

Presented by Springwood Avenue Rising in partnership with Inspire Life and part of the North to Shore Festival, this is one of the most meaningful walks you’ll take all year.

Inspire Life is a community-driven organization dedicated to uplifting culture, creativity and connection. This event is part of their larger Juneteenth Festival, which includes the Juneteenth Family & Arts Festival, the Cazzeek Brothers’ Cultural Talent Expo and KYDS: Soul Care in the Park.
